WooCommerce ready. == Description == **An AI assistant for your website — free.** It answers your visitors from your own site content and, when it can't find the answer, offers your contact details. Like any AI assistant it can make mistakes, so test it with your usual questions. Enter your email in the plugin's settings screen and your site gets **5 AI answers a day, forever — no card, no account to create by hand, no catalog required**; it indexes your homepage and up to 10 pages, refreshed weekly. If your site has WooCommerce products or services, the free plan also learns up to 10 of them (best sellers first, then the most recent) and shows them as cards in the chat — with an add-to-cart button only on items that can really be bought online. Paid plans raise the daily limit and unlock the whole catalog. Need more? Paid plans unlock more daily answers, a full WooCommerce product feed (with sales and attributes) for product recommendations, and document/catalog indexing — public, flat pricing: Web EUR 49/month, Store EUR 99/month, Knowledge EUR 149/month (VAT excl., no lock-in, cancel from your panel). The plugin itself is always free either way. **What the assistant does on your site:** * Answers your visitors from **your own content**, and is set up to hand over to a person when it can't find the answer. * Free plan: up to 5 answers a day, forever, from your homepage and up to 10 pages — plus **up to 10 products or services** if your WooCommerce has them, shown as cards with a link to the product page. * An **add-to-cart button** appears only on items that can really be bought online. If your site is a catalog (no cart or checkout page, or prices hidden), the cards show no button — and no price when the price is hidden. * Paid Store plan adds your **whole catalog** (not just 10 items) with attributes and units sold, so the assistant can recommend from your **actual best sellers**. * Knows **which product page the visitor is on** ("how much is this one?") — Store plan. * **Captures leads**: when a visitor shows buying interest, you get their contact details by email instantly. * Works in the visitor's language (built natively in Spanish and English). **What this plugin does technically:** 1. Adds a "Activate my free plan" form to Settings → AIPROCESSIA Assistant: your email, your site address, a required consent checkbox and an optional, unticked one for update notices and a free SEO+GEO report. One click activates the free plan and shows your usage (queries used today, visitors your assistant could not answer, indexed pages) right there in wp-admin. 2. Injects the AIPROCESSIA chat widget (a ~14 KB deferred script) — only after a token exists (free plan or paid). 3. Exposes a token-protected endpoint AIPROCESSIA uses to verify your site is reachable and to index its content. If WooCommerce is active and you enable the catalog toggle (paid Store plan), the very same endpoint serves a full product feed (Google Shopping XML) with attributes (data sheet) and units sold instead. On the free plan, the same endpoint answers a read-only `gratis=1` request with at most 10 products or services (best sellers first, then the most recent) so the assistant can show them as cards. 4. Without WooCommerce the assistant works in website-chat mode (it learns from your site content). With WooCommerce, the free plan adds up to 10 products or services; the whole catalog is part of the paid Store plan. **External services (disclosure).** This plugin connects to AIPROCESSIA (Softnet Sistemas SL, Spain — EU-hosted infrastructure, France). Every call below happens only after an explicit action by the site owner in wp-admin — never triggered by a site visitor: * **Activating the free plan** (Settings screen, "Activate my free plan" button, consent checkbox required): ONE request to https://aiprocessia.com/cuenta/documentos/gratis/alta/ with the email and site address you entered, this site's name, this site's verification token, the plugin version and your consent. AIPROCESSIA replies with a widget token and sends a verification email (valid 48h) to the address you entered; the free plan pauses (with a notice to visitors) if it is not verified in time. * **Checking your plan status** (Settings screen, loaded automatically or via its "Refresh" button, cached for 1 hour, re-checked at most once a minute while the site is not verified yet): a request to https://aiprocessia.com/cuenta/documentos/gratis/estado/ with your widget token, to show today's usage and indexing status in wp-admin. * **Trying the assistant before signing up** (Welcome screen, "Try it with my site" box, "Ask" button, no signup required): only when you press it, ONE request per question to https://aiprocessia.com/cuenta/documentos/gratis/demo/ with this site's address, the question you typed and the screen's language, to answer it from your site's own content. Limited to a couple of questions; never triggered automatically or from the public site. * The visitor's browser loads the chat widget script from the aiprocessia.com domain (path /cuenta/documentos/widget/) and sends chat messages, by POST, to the AIPROCESSIA chat API on the same domain (path /cuenta/documentos/ask/ — an API endpoint, not a web page). This only happens once a token exists. * AIPROCESSIA servers periodically fetch this site's feed/verification endpoint (token-protected) to confirm it is reachable, to index its content (free plan: homepage + up to 10 pages, weekly; and, if WooCommerce has published products or services, the public data of at most 10 of them — name, description, link, photo, category and, when shown on your shop, price — read through the `gratis=1` mode of the feed) and, only with WooCommerce and the catalog toggle enabled, to read the full product feed (paid Store plan). * **Optional update notices and free SEO+GEO report (opt-in, unchecked by default).** A checkbox — inside the free-plan form, and in the settings screen for sites that are not signed up there — asks whether you want plugin update notices, support and a free SEO+GEO report of your site. Only if you tick it, ONE request is sent to https://aiprocessia.com/cuenta/modulos/registro/ containing: your site domain, the email you entered in the form (or the site admin email when ticked from the settings screen), the platform (WordPress/WooCommerce and its version), this plugin's version and your language. AIPROCESSIA then sends a confirmation email to that address; **nothing is activated until you confirm** via its single-use link, and every email includes an unsubscribe link. If you leave the box unticked, this request is never made. * Service terms and privacy: [Legal notice](https://aiprocessia.com/en/legal-notice.html) · [Privacy policy](https://aiprocessia.com/en/privacy-policy.html) · [Pricing](https://aiprocessia.com/en/ai-shopping-assistant/) == Installation == 1. Install and activate the plugin — you land on its settings screen automatically. 2. **Free plan**: enter your email, confirm your site address, tick the consent checkbox and press "Activate my free plan". Check your inbox for the verification email (valid 48h). Done — the chat appears on your site. 3. **Paid plan**: create your account at [aiprocessia.com](https://aiprocessia.com/en/ai-shopping-assistant/), get your widget token (panel → Document Assistant → Settings → Chat on your website) and paste it under "Advanced — manual widget token". 4. (WooCommerce, paid Store plan) Enable the product feed and paste the feed URL shown into your AIPROCESSIA panel (Settings → My store catalog). == Frequently Asked Questions == = Is the free plan really free, forever? = Yes. 5 AI answers a day for your visitors, indefinitely, with no card and no account to create by hand — just your email and consent. It indexes your homepage and up to 10 pages (refreshed weekly) and, if your WooCommerce has products or services, up to 10 of them. The whole catalog and document indexing are part of the paid plans. = What happens after the 5th free answer of the day? = Your visitor sees a friendly notice pointing to your contact page, and you (the site owner) see the day's usage in wp-admin along with a link to the paid plans if you want to raise the limit. The count resets daily. = Do I need to verify my email? = Yes, within 48 hours of activating the free plan (one link, one click). Until then — or if it lapses — the assistant pauses and shows a "please verify" notice instead of answering. = Is the plugin free? = The plugin is always free, and now includes a free AI plan. Paid plans (from EUR 49/month + VAT, flat — no per-conversation or per-user fees, no lock-in) unlock more daily answers, the full product feed and document/catalog indexing. Public pricing: https://aiprocessia.com/en/ai-shopping-assistant/ = Does it work without WooCommerce? = Yes — the free plan does not need WooCommerce at all. Without WooCommerce the assistant works in website-chat mode: it learns your site content and captures leads. Product cards need WooCommerce (up to 10 items on the free plan); the whole catalog and recommendations from your best sellers need a paid Store plan. = What does the free plan do with my WooCommerce products or services? = If WooCommerce has published products or services, the free plan learns up to 10 of them — your best sellers first, then the most recent (out-of-stock items are skipped only when WooCommerce stock management is on) — and shows them as cards in the chat, each with a link to its page. The 5 answers a day and the confirmed email do not change. = When does the chat show a price or an add-to-cart button? = The add-to-cart button appears only on items that can really be bought online (simple products, purchasable, with a cart and checkout page published). If an item has a price but cannot be bought online — a service you book, an external product — the card shows the price and a link, with no button. If your site uses WooCommerce as a catalog (no cart or checkout page, or prices hidden), the cards show no price and no button. = Will it slow my site down? = No. The widget is a ~14 KB script loaded with `defer`, and nothing loads at all until a token exists (free plan or paid). = Can the AI make up prices or products? = It is designed to answer only from your own content (and, on the Store plan, your real catalog), and the prices on its cards come straight from your store. Like any AI assistant it can make mistakes, so test it with your usual questions. When it does not know something it says so and offers your contact details. = Where is my data stored? = On EU servers (France), with each customer's data isolated. Your content is never used to train AI models. You can delete your data from your panel at any time. == Screenshots == 1. The welcome screen: try the assistant on your own site right there (2 questions, no sign-up) and activate the free plan with your email — 5 AI answers a day for your visitors, no card, no account to create. 2. The assistant answering on a regular website (a dental clinic) from the site's own pages, with the source it used. 3. The assistant selling in a WooCommerce store: it answers with the real catalog and shows product cards with photo, price, "View product" and "Add to cart". == Changelog == = 1.4.0 = * Readme: more cautious wording about what the assistant promises, and a note that, like any AI assistant, it can make mistakes. * Free plan for shops and catalogs: if WooCommerce has published products or services, the free plan now indexes the home page plus up to 10 of them (best sellers first, otherwise the most recent; out-of-stock items are skipped only when WooCommerce stock management is on), with product cards in the chat. The home page and up to 10 pages are still indexed as before. * The add-to-cart button appears only on items that can really be bought online. If your site uses WooCommerce as a catalog (no cart or checkout page, or a catalog-mode plugin) the cards show no price and no button; items with a price but no online purchase show the price and a link to the product page. * New token-protected `gratis=1` mode of the existing feed endpoint (read-only, 10 items maximum). The 5 questions a day and everything outside the free plan are unchanged. = 1.3.2 = * New: "Try it with my site" box on the welcome screen — ask the assistant up to a couple of questions about your own site before signing up, with a plain-language note of exactly what is sent (your site address and the question) and an "Activate it for your visitors" prompt under the answer. * New: after activating the free plan, the screen now leads with "Your assistant is already learning your site" and a button to view your own site, instead of a table showing zero usage on day one; the usage counters are still there, one click away. * The free-plan signup request now also includes this site's name (so AIPROCESSIA can address it by name instead of the raw domain); the consent checkbox and the External services section were updated to disclose it. * The plan status shown in wp-admin now re-checks the backend (throttled to once a minute) whenever the last known status said "not verified" or "0 indexed pages", instead of trusting the 1-hour cache blindly — fixes the screen showing a stale "not verified" / "0 pages" state after a successful signup or after verifying by email. * A failed "Refresh" (network error, HTTP error including a 429, or an unexpected reply) now keeps showing the last known good status with a warning notice, instead of silently marking it as a success. * The consent checkbox is now a single required line with a native "see what is sent" detail (no external JS) instead of a paragraph of fine print; the optional update-notices/SEO+GEO checkbox moved below the "Activate my free plan" button so it no longer competes with it. Neither checkbox is pre-ticked and the optional one is never required. * All remaining admin-screen strings that used to fall back to English on non-English sites (field labels, the WooCommerce feed section, error messages) are now bilingual Spanish/English like the rest of the screen. * Fix: the "Try it with my site" answer could contain Markdown from the assistant (bold markers, blank-line paragraphs) and showed up as literal asterisks; it is now converted to safe HTML (bold, italics, line breaks) instead of raw text. = 1.3.1 = * The "visitors unattended" admin notice now says which period it is talking about: today's figures when the daily cap has been reached today, and a separate weekly notice ("This week: N visitors unattended") when it has not. * The update notices / free SEO+GEO report opt-in is now a single unticked checkbox inside the free plan form, instead of a second form asking for the same email and domain. Sites that already opted in keep their registration untouched and simply see the date it was made. * New screenshot of the free plan activation screen. = 1.3.0 = * New: free plan — activate 5 AI answers a day for your visitors, forever, from the settings screen (email + consent, no card, no account to create by hand). Verification email (48h), daily usage and "visitors unanswered" shown in wp-admin with a link to paid plans. * New: the feed/verification endpoint now also answers a lightweight 200 for sites without an enabled WooCommerce catalog (used to confirm the site is reachable before activating the free plan); the full product feed for paid Store plans is unchanged. * Fix: settings success/error notices (including the 1.2.0 site registration ones) were never displayed after saving — the redirect back to the settings screen lacked `settings-updated=true`, so WordPress discarded them. Fixed; after a failed activation the form also keeps what you typed. * Readme rewritten to open with the free plan; External services section updated with the two new endpoints; privacy link and labels localized (ES/EN). = 1.2.0 = * New: optional site registration (checkbox, unchecked by default, email double opt-in) to receive plugin update notices, support and a free SEO+GEO report. Fully disclosed under External services; uninstall removes the registration flags. = 1.1.1 = * Readme: clarified the external service description (the chat API endpoint is documented as an API, not linked as a page). = 1.1.0 = * Frictionless onboarding: after activation you land on a 3-step setup screen, and a reminder notice shows until the assistant is connected. The signup link carries your site domain so the AIPROCESSIA panel can pre-fill your widget domains. = 1.0.0 = * Initial release: chat widget injection (token-gated), WooCommerce product feed with attributes (data sheet) and units sold, settings page, feed cache with automatic invalidation. == Upgrade Notice == = 1.4.0 = The free plan now also learns up to 10 of your WooCommerce products or services and shows them as cards (add-to-cart only on items that can be bought online). Wording of this readme made more cautious. No action needed. = 1.3.2 = Welcome screen now lets you try the assistant on your own site before signing up, and the post-signup screen leads with "your assistant is learning your site" instead of a table of zeros. Lighter consent form and a more reliable plan status. No action needed. = 1.3.1 = Clearer wording in the admin notice (today's cap vs. this week's unattended visitors) and one form instead of two: the optional update-notices checkbox now lives inside the free plan form. No action needed. = 1.3.0 = Adds a free AI plan (5 answers/day, forever — just your email) activated from the settings screen. Existing paid tokens and the product feed keep working exactly as before; no action needed unless you want the free plan on a different site.
