Allows users and admins to edit comments on a post. Users can edit their own comments for a limited time, while admins can edit all comments.

WP Ajax Edit Comments (for WP 2.5+) allows users and admins to edit comments on a post. Users can edit their own comments for a limited time, while admins can edit all comments.

When using this plugin for the first time, please test out various characters.  If there are any issues, please de-activate the plugin immediately and file a <a href='http://www.raproject.com/support'>support request</a>.

== Installation ==

1. Just unzip and upload the "wp-ajax-edit-comments" folder to your '/wp-content/plugins/' directory
2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
3. Customize the CSS in the 'wp-content/plugins/wp-ajax-edit-comments/css/edit-comments.css' file.  Requests for CSS customizations are considered support requests.

From there, you and your users should be able to edit comments.  This plugin has been tested successfully on Internet Explorer 6, Internet Explorer 7, Opera 9, Firefox 2,3, Camino, and Safari for Mac.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Why is this plugin for WordPress 2.5 only? =

In order to ensure the most stability, this plugin is WordPress 2.5 only. The plugin makes extensive use of 2.5 features, so it is not possible to release an earlier version.

= Can I provide a translation? =

= Will you provide support for older versions of Ajax Edit Comments (1.x)? =

The short answer is no.  I encourage you to upgrade to WordPress 2.5 and install the latest plugin version.
